Ghazipur border turns into police fortress as more farmers joined the protest at Ghazipur on the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border. Hundreds of farmers from western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand reached a key protest site on the Delhi-Meerut highway in Ghazipur. Security measures were strengthened with multi-layer barricading that included iron and concrete structures, while barbed wires also came up on both sides of the highway stretch.
Kisan Morcha has called for a 'chakka jam' on February 6, between 12 noon to 3.00 pm, across India against arrests, internet suspension, sealing of roads and stoppage of water supply.
